 What motivated you into music?

God gave me this voice to sing, so I joined the choir in my church where I exhibit my singing prowess, I can say the motivation comes from God because He is the one that always inspired me most time. I have an elder brother who sings a lot and through him too I started having more interest in singing and we sing together often.

Do you have any mentor in your choice career?

Right from my childhood I have fell in love with the style of Ajobiewe’s chant, I used to watch him on the television then on Feyikogbon TV series so I was emulating his style, even though he doesn’t know me till date but he has been my mentor in my chanting career and I have another man Mr. Aloyinlohun who is also my mentor. In my singing I can say God is my mentor. I don’t like copying people, so I’m trying to create my style and I thank God because He has been faithful.

What are the challenges and limitations experienced in the course of your career development?

God has been so faithful to me, though the road was rough but He has made things easy for me, I took a risk one day, I have two shows at the same time and the 2 clients must see me in the production, one at the National Theater and the other at the Muson Center. I have to hire a bike on standby who was helping me to shuttle the two performance places. It was a big challenge but I thank God I scaled through.

As a lady, how do your parent react to your choice career and secondly, how did your spouse feel about it, knowing fully well that, you may have a lot of suitors in the course of growth and after you are fully established?

My parents were happy, they even pray for me for the success and they follow me up in prayers. My Spouse understand me and my career, he knows when the suitors come with their problems and sometimes he will be making jest of me, actually he is the one that always tell me what to tell them ooo, he is an artist himself and he followed me to my shows some times if he is less busy.

How do you manage your home as a mother whose career is time consuming?

God is faithful on that side, no one affected

“My Spouse understand me and my career, he knows when the suitors come with their problems and sometimes he will be making jest of me, actually he is the one that always tell me what to tell them ooo”

What are your happiest moment in your career?

What is your advice for the intending and upcoming music artiste?

I will tell them to be patient and be focused. They should follow good people that will help them in their career not those that will push them to wrong side.

Can you also reveal to us the most disgusting experience you’ve had during your career development?

(Smile) you know there are some big shows like that, when they call you for the production meeting, and the person is seeking to have an affairs with you before the show could be given to you. It’s so disgusting.

“While I was performing in USA in the presence of black Americans and they so much appreciated my chant and there someone recognized me and came to give me a special gift that so precious to me.”

How do you manage male fans and suitors?

It’s an understanding matter now, and trust. I place them where they belong, they are fans and they remain my fans, I do appreciate them and welcomed them anytime they come nearer. My husband understand this with me too and helped me a lot.
