“In everything you want to do in life, learn to put the word ‘I can’ it goes a long way in one’s life.”
Can you tell us about your sojourn in the movie industry?
I love acting and I was privileged to know a big sister, Tonia Okojie who made my entrance into the movie industry possible.
Have you featured in any film?
Yes, I have featured in two films, where I acted the role of “Madam Land Lady” and the second a mother of a bride, but I’m limited because of my location because if I were in Lagos I am very sure I would have done better because Lagos is the hub of the movie industry.
What was your experience in the films and what difficulty did you encounter interpreting your role?
The experience was a good one, and on difficulty, I will say I didn’t experience any because I have a zeal for the job.
As a mother, how do you cope with combining location with business and managing the family?
I will say it is not so easy, but in everything you want to do in life, learn to put the word ‘I can’ it goes a long way in one’s life.
You said that you are based in Abuja, what are the production challenges you are facing or ever faced?
For now, I am facing the challenges of not knowing when auditions will be done, I only know the ones in Lagos because that’s where I started from.
Are you a member of any association or guild in the industry?
I don’t think so, but I was in an audition group by Femi Durojaye, and another group by Motunde. But of recent, I was added to a group called Nollywood for elders.
“If I were in Lagos I am very sure I would have done better because Lagos is the hub of the movie industry”

Since there seems to be more work in Lagos; do you have a plan to relocate?
Oh yes I am really making plans for that
What will now happen to the established business you are running in Abuja?
I can do my business anywhere in Nigeria, thank God for technology, it has made many things easy
Can you take us through your private business?
The nature of my business is production of school materials and office use and as you know there are schools all over the federation.
What’s your philosophy of life?
